Vermeer Corporation was the center of the national manufacturing world this week as the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) gave their annual address from the Global Pavillion Wednesday. Jay Timmons is president and CEO of the national group advocating for the manufacturing industry, and says Vermeer is a model representative for their group and was one of the first places he came in contact with when he assumed the role nearly two decades ago. President and CEO of Vermeer Jason Andringa says the event had extra meaning, as it’s the 125th anniversary of NAM.
