The Knoxville Panther Scholarship Foundation’s application period has begun for all former Knoxville students currently attending college. Knoxville Panther Scholarship Foundation Board President Curt Froyan tells KNIA/KRLS News any former Knoxville High School graduate entering their second, third or fourth year of college can apply now by going to kpsfoundation.org. Froyan says the deadline to apply is March 1st and he says it is imperative to apply early as it takes time to match every student up with a scholarship and make sure everyone who applies receives one. Froyan says the foundation is entering its 17th year of helping Knoxville High School graduates attend college. He says over the past 16 years the foundation has helped over 1,300 students by providing over $1.1 million dollars worth of scholarships
