The Indianola Parks and Recreation Ice Rink is now open for public use, as winter conditions have brought the temperatures low enough to support stable ice. Parks and Rec Director Doug Bylund tells KNIA News the rink is open to all who provide their own skates, with set times for hockey from dawn to noon, and open skating from noon to dusk. The rink is located on the soccer fields behind Indianola Middle School.
