The driver’s license station is now open in Pella every Wednesday in Room 200 of the Pella Community Center. Marion County Treasurer Michaela Bigaouette says when she came into office, she evaluated how better to improve their hours and services to benefit the Pella community and the department’s staff.
Hours: 9:00 a.m. to noon, 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Testing: MUST be present by 3:00 p.m. to take a written test
Bigaouette says the move to the Pella Community Center location has also been beneficial to their staff and allows them to hold the extended hours. The Treasurer’s Office remains open in Knoxville at the Marion County Courthouse for license/state I.D. renewals, Real I.D. issuance, and address changes. No medical re-exams, foreign national issuance, reinstatements, or research services are available on Wednesdays.
