The Class 3A and 4A boys basketball teams know who they have to beat to get to Wells Fargo Arena.
Pella and Knoxville learned they will be bunched together in Class 3A, Substate 6. The No. 2 in Class 3A Little Dutch appear to be the likely top seed in the eight team region featuring many Little Hawkeye Conference teams, including Oskaloosa, Grinnell, and Newton, as well as Knoxville’s conference rivals Centerville, and Carlisle and Bondurant-Farrar rounding out that grouping.
Indianola will face a tough test in Class 4A Substate 6, as they will be in the same bracket as No. 1 Ankeny Centennial, No. 11 Johnston, and No. 15 Ankeny Centennial, as well as Des Moines East and Des Moines Roosevelt.
Stay tuned to 92.1 KRLS and 95.3 KNIA for continuing coverage of the Dutch and Panthers, as well as 94.3 KNIA for Indianola, and hear all of their postseason games live on the one to count on. The teams will learn the official brackets during the week of February 10th, while all 1A and 2A schools will have their official brackets drawn next week.
