As February begins, the Knoxville Public Library will host an array of different programs for people of all ages. On Tuesday, February 11th the library will host the Do It Yourself (DIY) event featuring Salt Dough. All materials will be provided, including cookie cutters to create shapes. Then on Thursday, February 20th the library will host the International Film Fan Club and feature the British film “Son of Rambow.” The film will begin at 6 p.m. On Saturday, February 29th, Women, Land and Legacy will host a free movie showing of the movie FarmHer at the library from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Women, Land & Legacy is a USDA education and outreach program coordinated through the Women, Food & Agriculture Network that has impacted thousands of Iowa women in agriculture. Working locally in counties throughout the state WLL empowers women landowners and farmers to be agents of positive change in their communities through active participation, educational sessions and networking opportunities.
