A challenging week of Bluegrass Conference Tournament has ended for the Melcher-Dallas Basketball Squads, now the Saints will host Tri-County on Monday. The girls are looking to get back to playing well as they took a couple of tough losses in the conference tournament. Coach Kelsey Goff tells KNIA Sports they are close to a preseason goal they set for themselves and she wants the girls to achieve it.

“My goal is to get double digit wins this year and we’re at 8 and we got to get at least two of them, if we can get all three that would be fantastic. Just getting my starters out there and getting a good sized lead so I can get some of the younger girls off the bench and get time.”

The boys will play winless Tri-County with a chance to close the season on a winning streak. The girls game is scheduled to begin at 6:00pm.
