The Pleasantville girls basketball team was in action Monday evening, hosting Earlham in girls only action. The Trojans won their second game in a row, 46-36. It started off with Pleasantville taking a 10-7 lead after one. It was a second quarter offensive explosion, as the Trojans extended their lead to 27-12 at the half. Despite the fourth quarter comeback attempt, Pleasantville was able to hold off the Cardinals in the end.

Faith Vanderhart came off the bench and led the team in scoring with 11 points. Pleasantville improves to 7-10 overall and 2-8 in the West Central Conference. Up next is a girls-boys doubleheader Tuesday evening as the Trojans host Interstate 35.
