The Central basketball teams will try to bounce back from a pair of losses on the road when they host Dubuque this evening. The Dutch women are still hanging on to the coveted sixth spot in the conference standings, and will look to stay there with a win. Central’s first conference win of the season came against Dubuque on the road, and they’ll look to duplicate that performance against a team that is coming off a road win over Nebraska Wesleyan.

The Central men find themselves solidly in ninth place in the standings, having now lost 12 in a row. The Dutch lost to Dubuque on the road when the teams met earlier in the season, and are coming off a lackluster performance on Saturday. While the Dutch haven’t played well on the road, they’ll look to bring the same energy they did at home last Wednesday against Loras, and will be confident in their chances if that happens.

Tonight’s doubleheader will be broadcast on the KRLS3 stream, with Jon Mohwinkle calling the action. Pregame coverage begins at 5:15, with the opening tipoff from Kuyper Gymnasium at 5:30.
