This Saturday, the Pleasantville Youth Initiative is hosting a special Prom and Party Dress Extravaganza at Pleasantville Memorial Hall. The event is for all high school girls and adult women looking for a dress for prom or for an adults only prom throwback, and will feature donated dresses from residents in Pleasantville and the surrounding communities. Any Pleasantville High School student that takes part in the extravaganza will receive a dress and one set of jewelry free of charge. For anyone else wishing to take part in the event, a minimum donation of $25 for a dress and $10 for jewelry is required. The first 100 people will also receive a swag bag with goodies, and raffle drawings will also be held throughout the event. Proceeds from the event will help serve the youth in the Pleasantville community. In addition, Pleasantville Youth Initiative will be donating 50% of the proceeds to Pleasantville High School’s After Prom. Anyone wishing to donate a dress or items for the event can drop them off at Lakefront Living Custom Engraving and Gifts during regular business hours.
