The class 4A #15 Knoxville Girls Basketball Squad begins a crucial two game stretch to close out the regular season this week. Monday the Panthers travel to take on Carlisle, a team that while their record does not show it at 9-9 will be a strong test for the 18-1 Panthers. Coach Jim Uitermarkt tells KRLS Sports his team will have to figure out how to contain Carlisle’s Molly Hoekstra, who is the Wildcats leading scorer at just over 16 points per game. Uitermarkt says she can play all over the court and is capable of hitting threes as she leads the team with 33 makes this season. Tip off for the Panthers and Wildcats Monday night is scheduled for 7:30pm.
