The Marion County Board of Supervisors met in regular session Tuesday. The board approved a Marion County Courthouse Special Use Permit Application for the Knoxville Farmer’s Market to use the west side of the courthouse grounds from May 17th through October 17th, 2020. They received and filed the Marion County Pioneer Cemetery Commission Report as well as approved a resolution regarding Outstanding Auditor Warrants and Outstanding Treasurer Checks..They approved a Limited Representation Conflict Waiver and Urban Renewal Plan Engagement Agreement with Ahlers Cooney for the Prairie Ridge Project. The agreement was made to waive any conflicts of interest according to Supervisor Mark Raymie. They held a public hearing regarding proposed Marion County Property Tax Dollars for fiscal year 2020-2021 and approved the resolution following the public hearing. The board set a public hearing date for March 10th, 2020 regarding the proposed Marion County Budget for fiscal year 2020-2021.
