The Twin Cedars Basketball Squads swept Orient-Macksburg on Tuesday with the girls winning 43-38 and the boys whipping the Bulldogs 48-32. The girls were balanced with two players in double figures led by Brooke Roby and Rylee Dunkin scoring 13 points and Chloe Swank scored 12. The Sabers had to come from behind by ten points to get the win. The Sabers also went 16/24 from the free throw line. Boys Coach Blake McWilliams said it was a rough game, but his guys persevered to get the win. Kade Dunkin scored 14 points to lead Twin Cedars. The girls now turn their attention to Thursday’s class 1A regional opener against Lynnville-Sully while the boys will travel to Iowa Valley on Thursday.
