The Knoxville Racing Charitable Organization’s (KRCO) 9th Annual Fundraising Extravaganza is just around the corner, and the deadline to donate items to the event is tomorrow. KRCO’s 9th Annual Fundraising Extravaganza will be held at Dyer-Hudson Hall on the Marion County Fairgrounds on Saturday, February 29th. Both a silent and live auction will be held throughout the event with the silent auction beginning at 4 p.m. and the live auction at 7 p.m. Denise Emal with the KRCO tells KNIA/KRLS News interested attendees can check out the KRCO Facebook page as items that will be featured in the auctions will be shown on there so people can see what they will have the opportunity to bid on. Admission to the event is completely free but the meal which is provided by Checkered Flag Concessions is $10. Proceeds from the event help provide insurance policies, safety equipment and donations to drivers at the Knoxville Raceway.
