The Knoxville Racing Charitable Organization’s (KRCO) 9th Annual Fundraising Extravaganza is coming up at the end of the month. The deadline to donate items is today. However, Marueen Nichols with KRCO tells KNIA/KRLS News they won’t turn anyone away if they are a little late with their donations. Nichols says the KRCO loves the support they get from the Knoxville Community as well as other communities throughout the area that take part in and support the extravaganza. The Fundraising Extravaganza will be held at Dyer-Hudson Hall on the Marion County Fairgrounds on Saturday, February 29th. Both a silent and live auction will be held throughout the event with the silent auction beginning at 4 p.m. and the live auction at 7 p.m. Admission is free but the meal, which is provided by Checkered Flag Concessions, is $10. Proceeds help provide insurance policies, safety equipment and donations to drivers at the Knoxville Raceway.
