The Melcher-Dallas Boys Basketball Squad beat Wayne on Friday 69-64. Coach Jim Wells told KNIA Sports it was a great team effort as the Saints placed four players in double figures led by Steven Krpan’s 21 points and 15 rebounds, Ryan Krpan scored 14 points, Lane Vanderlinden had 11 and Owen Suntken scored ten points. The Saints are 10-11 and will take on Ankeny Christian on Thursday in the quarterfinals of the class 1A district.
