The Pella Community Foundation awarded their first ever $25,000 Impact Grant to help fund phase one of the Wonder Spelen Inclusive Playground at Kiwanis Park. President of the Pella Community Foundation Jim Brandl says the grant is intended to provide significant funding for projects which strengthen Pella by addressing major initiatives and promising opportunities. Brandl this project fits nicely with the intended purpose of this grant since it addresses a significant community need, demonstrates strong funding from other sources, is collaborative in nature and is sustainable to ensure community impact well into the future. He congratulates the Pella Kiwanis Club and the Wonder Spelen board for their vision and work on this project, which will be completed in the next two years.
