After helping guide her team to two major victories last week, Central senior Kendall Brown has earned two honors from the American Rivers Conference. For the second time this season, the Moravia native has been named the American Rivers Conference Women’s Basketball Player of the Week. More remarkably, she’s also been named the conference’s Female Athlete of the Week.

Brown scored 32 combined points in the wins over Luther and Nebraska Wesleyan last week, with a field goal percentage of 58.3. In guiding her team to the wins, the Dutch have clinched a spot in the conference tournament for the first time since the 2004-2005 season. Central concludes the regular season Wednesday at Buena Vista.
