The Pleasantville Trojan boys basketball team got the 59-33 win over Interstate 35 Monday night to advance in postseason play and extend their season at least one more game. The Trojans were led by senior Mitch Harken’s 31 points as they took down the Roadrunners for the third time this season. The Trojans would lead from start to finish but were plagued by foul trouble throughout the game resulting in four Trojans with at least four fouls including senior Tagen Douma who fouled out late in the fourth quarter. Pleasantville will need to play cleaner basketball on Thursday as they will face 19-2 Woodward-Granger for the second time this season falling to the Hawks by just three on January 7th in a 62-59 nail-biter. The Trojans and Hawks will square off Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at Van Meter High School in a class 2A substate 6 semifinal.
