The Indianola City Council met in regular session Tuesday evening. The council approved the re-nomination of Drew Braize to the Park and Recreation Commission, and denied the nomination of Shirley Clark to the IMU Board of Trustees. The council approved changes to the terms of the Planning and Zoning Commission and the Board of Adjustment, and approved a rezoning of land near the Quail Meadows Lift Station, before going into closed session to discuss labor negotiations and the purchase or sale of real estate. The council also held a work session after the meeting, and received a presentation from City Finance Director Andy Lent on the budget.
