State Senator Ken Rozenboom says Governor Kim Reynolds is continuing to travel around Iowa to find feedback about a tax proposal that would shift funding resources. Rozenboom says part of the proposal during the Governor’s condition of the state address would add one-cent to the state sales tax, with the funds generated being split between natural resources and mental health, while further reducing the income tax. He says he’s unsure if the measure will pass during this session, as there are several other issues lawmakers continue to tackle.
