The 2020 slate of the Indianola Parks and Rec Tunes and Treats performance series begins today, with the John Krantz/Steve Charlson Duo. Becky Lane with Indianola Parks and Rec tells KNIA News the duo will perform piano and bass jazz music including standard show tunes, songs from the Great American Songbook, and other jazz standards. The performance is sponsored by the Music Performance Trust Fund with the cooperation of the Des Moines Musicians Association, and will take place at 1pm at the Indianola Activity Center.
