Several fine arts performances will be held over the next several days from students in the Pella community.

Pella Christian High School is hosting their annual winter concert on Thursday at 7:00 p.m. in the Pella Christian High Vermeer Auditorium. The Concert Band, Cantabile Choir and Concert Choir will be leading the audience in this evening of music. They will close the concert with a performance of the “Battle Hymn of the Republic.” In addition to the performance, donations will be accepted to benefit the Bandstra family with recovery after last Friday’s car crash in Plymouth County. A soup supper also begins at 5:30 before the concert by the junior class, with proceeds benefiting the junior-senior banquet.

Pella High School’s concert band will hold their winter performance this Friday at 7:30 p.m. in the Pella High School Auditorium. On Monday night, Pella High School’s band and choir students will perform in the annual solo/ensemble music festival throughout the high school from 4:30 to 9 p.m.

The Pella Christian 8th grade theatre troupe presents Theatre by Starlight on Friday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the Vermeer Auditorium at Pella Christian High School. Admission is free and dessert will follow the show in the cafeteria.

Pella Forte will hold their annual winter show on Saturday at 6:30 p.m. at Pella High School, which features the award-winning high school dance team, special performances, and participants in their afternoon clinic. Admission is $5. The Pella Christian Shine Dance Team will hold their Dance Showcase on Saturday at 3:00 PM at the high school. The show will feature performances by the Shine Dance team, special guests and workshop participants. Admission is $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for students.
