With the season opener approaching this weekend, the Central softball team has been ranked again in the NFCA Division III Softball poll. The Dutch dropped a spot from the preseason poll to #22, after several schools from warmer climates started their seasons already. Salisbury has gotten off to a 7-0 start to their season, taking Central’s previous spot at #21.

Central is the only school in the American Rivers Conference that is either ranked or receiving votes. The season gets underway this Saturday with a pair of indoor games in Rochester, Minn., against Wisconsin-Eau Claire and Dominican.
