With two special school elections being held next Tuesday, March 3rd for both Knoxville and Pleasantville, area voters are reminded of where to go, and how to cast their ballots. According to Marion County Auditor Jake Grandia, any Knoxville or Pleasantville resident wanting to cast their vote will need to do so at their general election polling location. Grandia tells KNIA/KRLS News people can cast their votes on Tuesday, March 3rd by going to their general polling location which is the same location they voted at during the November elections. Grandia says voters will just need their Iowa issued identification to cast their vote but if people do not have their identification they bring their pin card with their voter identification on it. According to Grandia, over 600 absentee ballots have been requested for the election with a postmark deadline of March 2nd for ballots to be counted. Grandia says early voting at the courthouse will be available through Monday, March 2nd but if people were unable to mail their ballots before March 2nd they can always drop them off on election day at the Auditor’s Office.
