Central College’s theatre department will present Kander and Ebb’s iconic musical “Cabaret” from March 4-8 in the Kruidenier Theatre.
Directed and co-choreographed by Assistant Professor of Theatre C.D. Adamson, “Cabaret” is set in 1931 Berlin as the Nazis are rising to power. It focuses on the nightlife at the seedy Kit Kat Klub and revolves around American writer Cliff Bradshaw and his relationship with English cabaret performer Sally Bowles.
Performances begin at 7 p.m. March 4-7 and at 2 p.m. March 8. Tickets are $12 for adults, $10 for senior citizens and students and free to students, faculty and staff with a Central ID. Tickets are available at events.central.edu or can be purchased at the door before each performance.
