A burst of spring-like air will return to the area again this weekend, and as more residents enjoy the outdoors, everyone is reminded to do so safely. Pella Police Lt. Paul Haase says as additional walkers and bikers get out on area streets and sidewalks, all driving a vehicle are reminded to pay extra attention and use extra caution at intersections and crosswalks. Haase says those who plan to ride their bikes should use proper reflective gear to ensure they are more easily seen by those driving. He says the City of Pella gets especially busy in March and April as tulips begin to bloom and residents and visitors frequent the city square and local parks.
