Sticking with #10 Nebraska Wesleyan through much of the contest, the Simpson Storm men’s basketball squad fell just short of their upset bid Thursday night on the road 91-77 to see their season come to a close. The Storm fell behind by as much as 13 in the first half, but went on a run to cut the deficit down to four at halftime 39-35. After getting within one point at 42-41, the Prairie Wolves went on an immediate 15-2 run to put the game away. Simpson got within 11 points multiple times to potentially start to get close, but each shot was immediately answered. The Storm end their season with a 14-13 overall record, and graduate six seniors including all-conference honorees Conor Riordan, Adam Reiter, and Kyle Wagner.
