rock-of-ages

The Knoxville High School’s spring musical Rock of Ages the high school edition will hit the stage at the Knoxville Performing Arts Center this week. The five-time Tony nominated musical comedy is the 27th longest running show in Broadway History. The high school edition of Rock of Ages has been reworked by the original creative team to make it stage appropriate for a high school cast and audience. Senior Lane Franck who plays Drew Boley in the musical, tells KNIA/KRLS News Rock of Ages is a love story with a variety of different characters and locations. Franck says the show features the love of rock music and people coming together to save a place they hold dear to their hearts. Performances of Rock of Ages the high school edition will begin on Friday, March 6th and run through Sunday, March 8th. Tickets for the show are $10 for students and adults with activity passes not accepted for the performances. Tickets can be purchased in advance as well as the day of the performance but only general admission tickets will be available at the box office the day of performances.
