The Melcher-Dallas Boys Basketball program is poised to have a good season in 2021. But to do that, the Saints need to put in the time during the off-season. Coach Jim Wells tells KNIA Sports he has always tried to get his guys into summer leagues so that they can just play and become more familiar with each other.
Wells:
“Usually you can get some of them to come and some can’t, and it’s good to get at least the top eight guys to come and they usually get to know how each other plays and cuts and it makes better team unity.”
He hopes his top eight guys will commit to a league this summer and work on their game.
