Representative Dustin Hite has filed to run for a second term in Iowa House District 79. Hite feels like he’s accomplished quite a bit in his first two years and looks forward to running again for the opportunity to serve his home district.
“I started to think about that again after last year, whether or not I would run again,” Hite says. “I think I was able to accomplish a lot for the State of Iowa, and our district last year, and this year, the same thing, especially this year after you get that first learning curve out of the way. This year, I’ve got three bills I’ve worked on with local officials in Marion and Mahaska County. I really enjoy that grassroots effort to make the State of Iowa better.”
