A Knoxville woman was arrested recently for possessing over 19 grams of marijuana. According to court documents, detectives with the Mid-Iowa Narcotics Enforcement served a search warrant at a residence in the 200 block of Attica Road in Knoxville. During the investigation officers located 24-year-old Holly Peer inside the residence. Located in the bedroom belonging to Peer, officers located multiple containers of a green leafy substance weighing a total of 19.4 grams that field tested positive for marijuana. Along with the marijuana, officers located prescription drugs, a digital scale and multiple baggies. Peer admitted to officers that she had helped sell marijuana to a friend and multiple messages on Peer’s phone showed the sale of marijuana. Peer was arrested and charged with a controlled substance violation, a class D felony, unlawful possession of prescription drugs, a serious misdemeanor and possession of drug paraphernalia, a simple misdemeanor.
