Carousel Theatre in Indianola begins showing their next performance tonight, Eurydice. Eurydice is a re-imagining of the greek myth of Orpheus, and actor Joel Hade tells KNIA News the production shows the range of Carousel Theatre, as it is a very thought-provoking piece.

“We’ve been trying to do more of this in the last few years especially. We’ve been blessed by having some great talent come down from Des Moines and become interested in Carousel. We always thought we were a well-kept secret sort of. We’ve got now a number of people coming down on a regular basis really expanding our group of actors and directors.”

The production will take place at Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Innovations at 117 E Salem Ave tonight, tomorrow, and March 13th and 14th at 7pm, and March 8th and 15th at 2pm. Tickets for adults cost $10, and students cost $5.
