The Knoxville High School’s spring musical Rock of Ages the high school edition will hit the stage at the Knoxville Performing Arts Center tonight at 7 p.m. The five-time Tony nominated musical comedy is the 27th longest running show in Broadway History. If residents are unable to attend this evening’s show, there are two more opportunities with showings scheduled for tomorrow at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. Tickets for the show are $10 for students and adults with activity passes not accepted for the performances. Tickets can be purchased in advance as well as the day of the performance, but only general admission tickets will be available at the box office the day of performances.
Additionally, the Junior Class After Prom Committee will host a Spaghetti Supper Fundraiser prior to the Saturday showing. The dinner will begin at 5 p.m. at the high school with the show to follow at 7 p.m. The meal includes spaghetti, breadsticks, dessert and a drink for $7. Tickets will be available at the door the night of the event. Take-out meals and curbside service will also be provided for anyone who can not attend but would still like to enjoy a spaghetti dinner. Proceeds will be used for entertainment costs, game rentals, prizes and food for the After Prom event.
