It is no secret that the Knoxville Girls Basketball Squad will have to replace a void of 23.2 points per game with the graduation of Katie Keitges. That said, with everyone else back plus a few new additions to the Panthers next year, Coach Jim Uitermarkt tells KRLS Sports if all of the girls just contribute a couple more points per game more than this season, that void will not be as noticeable next season.

Uitermarkt:
“But if we can get everyone of those kids including Maggie, and it will be tough for her to score more than she did, but if could get two, three, four more out of Maggie, Charlee, Tara, Emma, Marley and whoever else we put out there, we could come close to making up for that.”

Uitermarkt knows one person is not going to come out and score 23 points per game more than they did this season and he is not going to put that kind of pressure on any of his players. Knoxville ended the season with a 20-3 record.
