The Bluegrass Conference announced its all-conference basketball teams this week. For the Twin Cedars girls Brooke Roby was selected to the first team. She led the Sabers in scoring at 11.7 points per game and three pointers made with 32. Chloe Swank was named to the second team as she led the Sabers in rebounding with 102. Kaya DesPlanque was named to the honorable mention. For the boys, the Sabers were unable to anyone on first or second team, but Kade Dunkin earned an honorable mention. The Melcher-Dallas girls got three players on the list led by Kynser Reed on the first team. Reed led the Saints in scoring at 16 points per game. Haley Godfrey earned second team honors leading the Saints in three point shooting. Lilly Bennett was named to honorable mention. For the boys, the Brothers Krpan each got first team honors. Steve led the Saints in scoring at 13.8 points per game while Ryan was right behind at 13.4. The two also led the Saints in rebound with Steven winning that battle for the season 175 and Ryan grabbing 130. Emery Sage earned an honorable mention selection.
