It was a busy Saturday of spring sports at Central. In games aired on KRLS3, the softball team split their games at the NFCA Division III Leadoff Classic in Tucson, Arizona. The Dutch opened the day with a 3-2 loss to LeTourneau. Central bounced back to defeat Emerson 9-1. Central is back in action Sunday with games against Claremont-Mudd-Scripps and Mary Hardin-Baylor.

The Central baseball team split their first two of three games in Jacksonville, Illinois against MacMurray. Central opened with a 14-5 loss, but came back to win the second game in a 9-0 shutout. The Dutch have one more game with the Highlanders on Sunday.

The men’s tennis team also picked up a victory over Simpson, 9-0. They followed that up with a 9-0 loss to Luther. They’ll be back in action Wednesday, hosting Concordia Nebraska.
