The Knoxville School Board will meet in regular session today. The board will consider approval of a Logo Task Force proposal regarding the redesign of the Knoxville Panther as well as a Step It Up Kids Knoxville Middle School fundraiser to help raise money for field trips, the Positive Behavior Intervention System and recognitions for students. They will consider an overnight trip request for the Knoxville High School Softball Team to stay at the Southwest Community College dorms June 12th through the 13th for a tournament in Creston as well as consider a work session follow-up with Jim Verlengia of Drake University, an expert in leadership development, coaching, changing leadership, mediation, culture building and strategic planning. The meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m. and will be held at the district’s administrative offices.
