Melcher-Dallas Schools were evacuated this morning due to a suspicious odor. Students and staff were taken to a nearby church while crews with Mid-American Energy and the Melcher-Dallas Fire Department worked to isolate the cause of the odor which was determined to be a gas leak. The school has been given the all clear and students and staff have returned to the building.
