The Indianola wrestling squad made a run to the state dual tournament this past season, as well as qualifying six individuals to the state meet at Wells Fargo Arena. The Indians senior leadership was one of the reasons the Indians saw so much postseason success, and replacing them will be difficult. The Indians saw state qualifiers Miles Berg, Nick Bonanno, Brennan Meacham, and Caleb Watson compete individually at the state meet, and were stalwarts of the team for several years, and will all be lost to graduation. The good news for the Indians, underclassman Cooper Belt and 113lb state runner-up Ryder Downey return to the program with state meet experience, as well as a host of other young wrestlers.
