The PCM girls basketball team is settling into the offseason after a 10-13 campaign. Four seniors depart the program, and each of them made meaningful contributions in some form or another. That leaves things open for next year, with some key roles to be filled. Head Coach Jeff Lindsay has one player in mind that he wants to see strides from in the offseason, and lead the charge in her senior season.

“Hoping for Celeste Wagaman to make a big step next year in the contribution on both ends. With her offense, she’s very capable. Defensively, she’s very capable there. Right now it’s just a confidence thing. And I hope in the summer workouts, we can get some of these things fixed.”

Wagaman scored 2.9 points per game and pulled in 50 rebounds in a junior campaign which saw varying levels of playing time. She’ll join Emma George and Lilli Baird as some of the top returners for 2020-2021.
