Pella Historical Society and Museums will open for the season this Monday. Executive Director Valerie Van Kooten says their annual winter “hibernation” allowed staff and volunteers to make improvements to the Historical Village and add new exhibits for patrons to enjoy. In addition to the exhibits, Van Kooten says progress continues on the Forging Our Future campaign, which includes significant renovations to the Scholte House.
