Several bright spots on the Melcher-Dallas Boys Basketball Squad will return for next season. Lane VanderLinden earned his way into the starting lineup around midseason according to Coach Jim Wells hard work and his hustle.

Wells:
“Lane is a guy that his motor never shuts off, he’s always on the floor diving for a ball and looking for a rebound. He does a lot of little things, and you have Ryan and Steven Krpan who have been playing since they were freshmen, and Owen Suntken got some playing time.”

All three mentioned players will return for the Saints next year which could make for a lethal one/two/three punch as all three averaged around 13 points per game. The Saints finished 10-12 this season.
