State Senator Ken Rozenboom says the Legislative Session is going on as intended, at least for now, during the COVID-19 pandemic. He says most of the action as it relates to COVID-19 will come from Governor Kim Reynolds and the Executive Branch. Rozenboom recommends all residents to follow the Iowa Department of Public Health and to pay attention local, state, and national health officials as it relates to the spread of the Coronavirus.
“Other than some informal conversations about continuing on with our work at the Capitol, that’s about the extent of the conversation,” he says. “The greater question of how it affects Iowans, I think the Governor, the Iowa Department of Public Health, and the State Emergency Operations Center are doing a good job of monitoring and managing the situation.”
