Earlier this evening, the Tulip Time Steering Committee and members of the board of Pella Historical Society and Museum met with representatives from the city of Pella and the Marion Co. Department of Health and Marion Co. Emergency Management to discuss COVID-19 and the 2020 Tulip Time Festival.

Statement from the committee:

“With increasing concerns for the health of our guests, volunteers, vendors, participants and residents of Pella, we are carefully looking at the future of the 2020 Tulip Time Festival. Within the next two weeks, we will determine if the festival will continue as planned or what changes will be made to ensure the safety of our community and visitors. Thank you for your patience as we navigate this unprecedented health crisis.”
