The Knoxville Chamber of Commerce will host their next Lunch and Learn event this week. The Lunch and Learn event will feature chamber member Annie Leonard with Iowa Realty as she covers the ins and outs of Microsoft Excel. Leonard has worked with Microsoft Excel since the late 1980s and has taught computing classes at University of New Mexico Continuing Education, as well as private group classes and individual tutoring in Knoxville. Leonard will share her Excel expertise to help individuals navigate the program more efficiently. She will focus on the basics of working Excel, how to format a spreadsheet and how to build simple formulas. Attendees are asked to bring a laptop equipped with Microsoft Excel. The Lunch and Learn session will be held at the Marion County Extension Office on Thursday, March 19 from noon to 1 p.m. Lunch is not included in this session, but attendees can feel free to bring their own. Lunch and Learn sessions are free to all Knoxville Chamber of Commerce members and $10 to all non-members. Anyone interested in attending is asked to RSVP prior to the event.
