Several Pella High School students earn All-State recognition from the Jazz Educators of Iowa. Pella Jazz I Director Dameon Place says the following students were recognized:

Annaleigh Babcock, Trumpet (3-time qualifier)
Isaac Piersma, Drums (3-time qualifier)
Sam Burrows, Piano
Eli Burrows, Bari Saxophone
Jack Stratton – Bass (Alternate)

Place says the students have had another successful performance season, earning the top score in Class 3A in the Hoover Jazz Festival and qualifying once again for the Iowa Jazz Championships.
