As a result of the updated recommendations from the CDC and Governor Kim Reynolds recent announcement, the City of Indianola has announced that offices will be closed to the public, however city staff will be available by phone. City Manager Ryan Waller tells KNIA News the city is adapting to the recommendations, and is working to provide the same services as normal.
“For us, it’s business as usual and we are open as a city organization; we are still here to serve residents even though city facilities have been shut to the public. All staff have reported to their work stations and are available by phone to answer any questions the public may have, and we have talked about being as creative as possible to be able to provide as many services as possible when needed.”
The City of Indianola also recommends reviewing a fact sheet and safety procedures set out on the city website. For more information, tune in to today’s Let’s Talk Indianola.
