While the Pleasantville boys basketball team did not have the season they wanted or expected this past season, there is reason for optimism for the future. While five seniors depart the program, seven juniors and a sophomore who had a breakout season are expected to return next season. Head Coach Joel Allman highlights who he thinks will lead the Trojans next season.
“Mason Scheve had a pretty good year this year, scored the basketball. He’s going to have to take his game to the next level, because there’s going to be teams that have him at the top of their scouting report. And then Caylor Clark will have a big year next year I believe. Aaron Wilkins was out with an ACL this season. He would’ve been huge for us this year, and I believe he’ll have a big year next year as well. Colby Sandholt, Austin McMillin, Braidy Friday were all guys that played for us a little bit this season. They’ll have to put some time in and hopefully help our team have a big year next year as well.”
The Trojans finished 11-11 overall and 8-8 in the West Central Conference.
