When the season does resume for the Twin Cedars girls track and field squad, the Sabers should be solid in the distance races. Twin Cedars had a record breaking year this fall as freshman Rylee Dunkin rewrote the record book for the Sabers and reached the state meet ultimately finishing seventh. Coach Cam Parker tells KRLS Sports Dunkin is versatile and can run in several different events.

Parker:
“Just a good athlete and a great runner and we’re looking forward to seeing what she can do in the distance races. Also going to use her in relays as an anchor. The crazy thing about Rylee, she’s also a good sprinter, but you have to put her in the things she’s going to excel at.”

As of now no practices, competition or organized meetings can happen with teams during the shutdown of high school sports due to COVID-19.
